He is an educator at heart having held various educational roles: Teacher; Principal; Lecturer in educational technology, and has been Director of e-Learning at CORE since its inception in 2003.

Chair of the Cross Sector Forum working group on MLEs (for Minister of Education) charged with developing a national framework and set of principles to guide the development of Modern Learning Environments.
