Te Toi Tupu - Leading Learning Network consortium
Te Toi Tupu is a consortium made up of CORE Education, the University of Waikato, Waikato-Tainui College for Research and Development, Cognition Education, and the New Zealand Council for Educational Research. The consortium is focused on raising the achievement of all students previously under-served by the education system.
University of Canterbury
CORE Education’s INSTEP research involved CORE researchers and University of Canterbury educational faculty collaborating on a series of action research projects on the professional learning needs and dispositions of pre- and in-service teacher educators.
South Pacific Press
CORE Education and South Pacific Press have developed an online professional learning programme called Literacy2U focusing on increasing teacher knowledge of how to effectively teach reading comprehension strategies to students in the middle years (ages 8-13).
Torque IP
TorqueIP helps schools make the right technology choices and deliver successful infrastructure projects. Working as independent consultants, advisors and project managers on behalf of schools they will help build the most effective technology infrastructure for each school's budget and environment. From networking, communications cabling, and connectivity to HVAC, power and ICT product procurement, TorqueIP helps schools become connected.
Weta Workshops
CORE Education and Weta workshops combined to develop the supporting website for the well known TV series, ‘Jane and the Dragon’.
Young Enterprise Scheme (YES)
YES is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes enterprise and a financially literate culture among young people in New Zealand. CORE supports the Canterbury Young Enterprise Scheme.
